Introduction of belt feeder

Belt feeder is a kind of coal feeding machine in thermal power plant. It is mainly composed of coal pipe, belt, roller, fan-shaped baffle and so on. At present, most of the power plants using dumper coal unloading adopt belt feeder.

Working principle of belt feeder

The coal feeding of belt feeder depends on the friction between the belt belt and the coal sill to feed the coal to the coal receiving equipment, so as to realize the work of belt feeder. Due to the need for friction, the belt speed of belt feeder should not be too high, otherwise it is easy to have relative sliding between the belt and the coal, which may lead to the failure of the coal feeding.

Belt feeder structure

Belt feeder is composed of conveyor belt, driving device (motor, reducer, coupling, hydraulic force,- device, brake, backstop >, electric roller, reversing roller, supporting roller, cleaning device, guide trough, frame, tensioning device, funnel, safety protection device, etc.

Operation and maintenance of belt feeder

1. Ensure that there is no maintenance or staff beside the belt feeder and no sundry items on the belt.

2. Check and confirm that the interface of the belt conveyor is good and there is no layer lifting, scratch or tear.

3. Check and confirm that each supporting roller is complete and there is no deviation of screw tensioning device.

4. Check and confirm that there is no coal accumulation on the head and tail drum and on the second floor belt. The guardrail of the tail drum is firm and complete.

5. Check and confirm that the motor connection is well grounded and the wheel cover is complete and firm. No loosening of anchor bolts.

6. Check and confirm that the reducer oil level is normal and the oil quality is qualified.

7. Check and confirm that the baffle position of coal falling pipe is correct and tight according to the operation mode.
